Definition

Aspect Ratio -- is the ratio of an object's width to height. Relative to racing, this term is most commonly used for the ratio of a tire's width to the height of its sidewall. For example, a tire with a size code of 225 x 50 means the height of the sidewall is 50% of the tire's width (which is 225 mm).
